Characteristics of the adult genitaHa and sorne ontogenetic characters support placement of Pantochlora in the pentatomid subfarnily Edessinae. P. vivida feeds almost exclusive)y on new shoots and leavcs of severa) species of two closely related genera of Lcg;uminosae, Lt.>nclwcarpus and Piscidia. lts geographical distribution is restricted to southem Mexico and Central America. | |
